Do you know the Republic Act #: 9292?

January 5, 2008

The RA #:9292 is also known as the “Electronics Engineering Law of 2004″ is now fully implemented with the Implementing Rules and Regulations approved by the board. The old law called RA #:5734 was repealed by RA #:9292.

In RA #: 9292, the well known Electronics and Communications Engineer is now known as Electronics Engineer, but it still bears the acronym ECE under the new law. As of this moment most ECE under RA #: 5734 are now in a hurry of doing conversion of their license in order for them to practice their profession.

There are rules and/or steps to follow for the license conversion. The guidelines can be seen at the IECEP-Davao Chapter website.
